Answer = I apologise for the premature failure of the
Russian Svetlana valves / tubes,
after 15 months. (We were expecting it to last 2 or 3 years, if you
switch on the amplifier for 3 hours a day) |

produce MUCH MUCH MUCH LOWER MEASURED DISTORTION

Based on our constant quality control checks, we found that
Russian Svetlana valves / tubes USUALLY' produces about 2 to 3 times
more distortion.

THIS GBP 50 IS 100 PERCENT OPTIONAL,
but I think that it is well worth GBP 50,
for SLIGHTLY nicer treble (for more people)
or 30 percent to 50 percent improvement (for VERY fussy listener)
(about 10 to 1000 times bigger than changes to cables, volume controls,
changing plastic capacitor in GOOD WORKING ORDER, etc) |
