A man shouting at the top of his voice can only produce 0.05 "acoustic" watts.
It is only a tiny one twentieth of a watt !

If you have 5% efficient speakers,
you only need 1 watt from your amplifier,
to reproduce a man shouting at the top of his voice.

If you have a man shouting at the top of his voice in your living room,
you will have the neighbours banging on the wall, within an hour.

There is no sane reason why you need 100 watt amplifiers,
if you have neighbours !
